A wayward Vedir, a horse and the road her only companions. Though she no longer lives amongst her kind, her devotion to them yet remains- though faint. Nowadays, Aethlin travels between settlements, putting down threats to the general populace, and keeping her ears keen to news of the Kamasylve's condition.A practitioner of dark magic, she wields her blade in defense of her people's great tree. Like many Dark Knights, she is considered a pariah and an outcast in the Elflands and Arid Lands both. As such she prefers to act subtly, and in secret. Aethlin is willing to take up any cause, so long as she is free to act alone when necessary.Having seen over a century, Aethlin was present for much of her people's recent history. Fellow elves may recognize her from a few notable events over the past sixty years. She is far less known to non-elves, who may only recognize her as a traveler and a mercenary. Of late, she spends much of her time around Balenos, making a modest living through work.Whatever she may do, and wherever she may go, her heart belongs with her kindred. Though it is a faraway dream to see the elves reunited beneath the boughs of the Kamasylve, it is a goal she strives ever towards.
